Hey! I'm Hunter.

I am currently a double major in journalism and business marketing at Azusa Pacific University located in Southern California. I like to write and have an endless, crazy misfit list of dreams of things I want be "when I grow up" – whenever that will be. Well gee, what would you like to know?

I've known I wanted to be a journalist since kindergarten when the local weatherwoman came to our school. I love to blog, to write, to journal, to interview, to edit. So, I guess I may actually be in the right field regardless of what so many people have to say about the "dying art." I am also majoring in marketing in case the rumors are true, and in case I end up liking public relations more. But ultimately, to be able to market myself.

The majority of my being is shaped by the fact that I was born and raised in Michigan with four brothers by two parents who are still in love. This usually translates to sometimes having an Midwest accent, constantly wearing wool socks and enjoying action movies more than most people.

Speaking of movies, I have a love for media, movies, TV shows, movie trailers and good reads. Some of the best things I've watched is anything that can make me laugh and cry in the same sitting (i.e. The Blind Side, How to Train Your Dragon, 16 Candles, the Harry Potter series, and so on). I have a laundry list of shows I keep up on/watch over and over again including Gilmore Girls, Grey's Anatomy, Gossip Girl, New Girl, Top Chef and MasterChef.

My biggest goal is to touch someone's life with writing and to ultimately further the Kingdom of God.
